The Love Alliance Foundation for Orphans, Disabled and Abandoned Persons in Nigeria (LAFODAP NIGERIA) began as the One Family Association (OFA), founded by Mr. Ademola Vincent—a visionary orphan since the age of 17. Driven by personal experiences of hardship, Vincent started supporting children from needy families in 2009 and, by 2012, established OFA in Ikorodu, Lagos, alongside a dedicated team of friends and family.
Despite initial administrative challenges, OFA was restructured and formally rebranded as LAFODAP Nigeria in 2014. The foundation expanded its mission beyond social work to address profound global challenges, including climate change. Today, LAFODAP Nigeria not only empowers vulnerable children and promotes social well-being but also actively advocates for sustainable environmental practices to combat climate change.
Through collaboration with individuals from diverse backgrounds, LAFODAP Nigeria envisions a brighter future built on resilience, environmental stewardship, and collective action.

The Love Alliance Foundation for Orphans, Disabled and Abandoned Persons in Nigeria” (LAFODAP NIGERIA) is a non-governmental structure of supervision for young children in especially difficult circumstances. Membership at Love Alliance Foundation

Empowering Orphans and Advocating Climate Change Action in Nigeria with Love Alliance Foundation (LAFODAP) involves a strong community of dedicated members. The foundation has four categories of membership: Founding Members, Associate Members, Honorary Members, and Members by Right.
* Founding Members: These are individuals who developed the foundation’s vision and legal framework in Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria
* Associate Members: Supporters who uphold the foundation’s legal principles, provide supervision, and contribute financial resources
* Honorary Members: Key supporters who offer multifaceted assistance and provide valuable suggestions to ensure the smooth running of the foundation.
* Members by Right: Beneficiaries and residents of the foundation who actively participate and contribute through membership fees.

Who Can Be Involved?

At Love Alliance Foundation, we welcome individuals of good will—Nigerians or foreigners—who are committed to promoting welfare, mutual support, and active solidarity. Institutions with similar objectives can also join as honorary members or benefactors. Members are regularly updated on activities and are encouraged to participate in meetings to ensure the organization thrives.
To become a member of Love Alliance Foundation for Orphans, Disabled, and Abandoned Persons in Nigeria, you must:

* Respect every individual and uphold civic rights.
* Show compassion for the challenges faced by disabled, orphaned, and abandoned children.
